Dancing Desert Dragonby *Rubilight

A flygon I drew in SAI, this time I gave it the classic shapes - with that I mean I made it more bottom heavy and shizz. I like the result a lot more, still feels like something is missing tho... hm.

As Flygon is my all time favorite Pokemon, I was searching for some beautiful and original pieces of this amazing pokemon. Just by looking at the title: "Dancing Desert Dragon" I could tell this piece was going to be amazing. And it is. Being that Flygon is my favorite pokemon, I know how a Flygon should look and what landscape it should be in, and you got an A plus in both of those categories. The tail, wings, head, everything is just perfectly shaped and the sand makes the drawing look very elegant. I would give yourself a pat on the back, as this is by far one of the best Flygon dragons I have seen.

I love the detail and depth in the dust, at really emphasizes the wings and red in the drawing. The wind even pales the skin of Flygon. The perspective of the body is perfect, nothing looks awkward or unrealistic like many flying drawings do. Even the view of the wings and way the wind is directed looks EXACTLY how it should. Also, the circles make an amazing shading. Very original, and slightly abstract. Love it! Fabulous job, one of the best drawings of Flygon i have ever seen. And since Flygon is one of my favorite Pokemon, this is AMAZING. I am in awe with your talent.
